Sorry to bump a very old thread - but am going to be shopping for a set of tires soon for the ZHP. Have it narrowed down to 4 options: Michelin PSS, Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, Michelin Pilot A/S 3+, or Continental DWS06. While the ZHP is primarily a nice, warm weather car for me, I was thinking having an A/S wouldn't be the worst idea, but I'm not settled on that.
The Firehawks are the bargain of the bunch - $600 installed after tax at Firestone. The Contis would be about 850 installed and the Michelins just under $1000 installed for both the PSS or the A/S 3+. Anyone have any experience with the Firehawks, good/bad/otherwise?
