Thanks for the replies guys. I sucked it up and picked up a new one at the dealer. Yes, the tether comes with a new cap... But, it has an updated o-ring with improved sealing, so I was good with $24 to have the tether again. :facepalm

I have an oil cap in good condition if anyone needs it to refresh theirs.


Does anyone have a right side HK coupe tweeter/mid speaker they'd like to loan me? my BSW order was pushed back 3 weeks because someone didn't check in the inventory properly and they are going through each box by hand. I have my 6-7 hr drive to Timmayfest next weekend and would love a fully functioning stereo for it. I'll pay for shipping and also ship it back after I get the BSWs.

It added +10whp when I installed the shift knob from ex-boss Mark's 335i before he returned it to BMW. :)

DW's shift boot will definitely add horsepowerz.
