What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Wow, all the replies, you guys are too awesome... Sorry I didn't get in here sooner, Christmas and whatnot all got in the way. :rofl

Anyway, cars all look great!

For me, I added color matched fender 'gills' to the M3...

And slowly I'm gearing up to install the new downpipes on the X5.

With so much power from the S14...I really do not know if the body would be able to handle that engine. Body might slowly peel away from the speed. :thumbup

BTW, did you do your own S14 engine rebuild?

While it's not nearly enough power to be a concern for the chassis, it sure is more than enough to provide some serious zoom. :thumbsup

Yes sir, VAC performed the head work. And local shop did the bottom end machining. I assembled everything.

Btw - I did weld in gusset plates I made to the front unibody/frame rails and to both subframes to support the additional power. And I welded in structural plates to known weak points (based on 50 years of folks racing these cars)

I cleaned mine after two months of outdoor neglect. LOL

Stopped at my local dealer today and placed an order for a few little things for each vehicle... To be picked up tomorrow... While there, I also got a full all access tour of the new dealership (they completely rebuilt the whole property). Pretty impressive, and then I checked out the new 7 series... Wow, what a car...

New Pulley Day. I went into a store the other day and left the car idling. I came out and heard this whining from across the parking lot - sure enough, it was coming from my ZHP. Couldn't hear it inside at all. Glad I caught it - I had one go on my E38 and it made major mess of it.
