Took the X5 out for some spirited driving... Trying to burn through the rest of the run-flats so that I have an excuse to go get the new PSS put on... And I bought a set of Lux H8 LED corona ring bulbs for the M3... Will be nice to get rid of the ugly yellow look.
Haven't been out driving in over a week, so since it was a bright and shiny day I drove to 'The Costco' for some minor grocery shopping.
As I returned to the vehicle a very nice older couple complimented me on the car. I began to explain to them what it was, but I kind of got a glazed over look from both of them. They said they noticed the pretty orange color, then it finally clicked for me. :facepalm
Winter wheels put on Sketchi
I was able to correct the gas gauge needle so that's not a problem anymore. If it is really sunny out and the interior lights are off the white numbers can be a little hard to see but it doesn't bother me at all. I really like the look and it looks great with my silver cube trim! On another note, right after I fixed the gas needle and started the car it had a cylinder one misfire. Time for some new spark plugs and a new coil for cylinder one!
