I would attribute most of the improvement to the engine mounts since the stock ones had cratered. The stock tranny mounts were in decent shape. Overall I am very pleased with the M3 motor mounts and UUC trans mounts. I do not detect any increase in NVH... just a much tighter driveline.
As for the Corsa exhaust, it's like crack for your ears. Gas mileage will take a hit because you just can't make yourself shift before 5000 rpm. It's perfect. (Note: I've got it coupled to an AFE stage 1 intake which increases the sound as well). Also, I am amazed at how quite it is at idle and cruise. I was concerned that my wife would be upset - she does not like loud cars at all. She didn't notice the new exhaust sound when I loaded the kids for school! Until you get on it, it's surprisingly tame.
