What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

New center caps arrived today for my BBS CH that got mounted today and had the upper strut mounts replaced on my '03 ZSP. It snowed and the PSS are not fun in the white, so it stayed at the shop overnight. It's parked next to my M3 for the first time. I hope they get along.

Speaking of rain....chose to not go on a mountain bike ride on Sunday and work on my zhp instead. Over the last few months, the valve cover has been leaking more and more and of course, it drips right onto the exhaust manifold and thus lets off that awesome burning oil smell. My wife has not been happy smelling like burnt oil everywhere she goes....so Sunday turned out to be the best day for it.

In the culprit corner, the gasket was so brittle it cracked while removing it....

Overall, pretty pleased with how clean the top end looks.

I replaced the plugs with NGKs and went for a run up the highway and back with the wife to get the oil nice and hot then changed the oil and filter.....would've washed it but I knew it was just going to rain so I didn't.

I cleaned and conditioned the seats this afternoon. It's funny how you think they're clean...and then you look closely. I'm going to need to do this one or two more times this summer to really get them clean.

Took her to the county tag office to get her titled and registered. Went fairly smooth, AL is finicky when it comes to out of state cars & paperwork, and me buying a California car had me worried. Did get a great plate ordered:

Also ordered cooling system overhaul parts and pulley/belt kit today as well for some needed mechanical work, as well as some gloss black grilles and some cocomats.
