What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I have an E39 default auto dim square mirror in my car. I haven't sent my oval in for the leakage fix.

The one I got was from an E90. I think BMW changed the mirror mount for the F-series BMWs, but otherwise pretty much everything is backwards and forwards compatible (just have to make sure you remove the BMW Assist pins in the case of the E46 since those pins serve other purposes on other BMWs)

And I brought this home for a night. I am very very tempted to buy it to replace the S4 instead of an F80. The F80's are A. everywhere now B. Fast but don't have a raw feel C. I can get this car for a wicked good buy through the Audi dealer I sell at D. It's all wheel drive, comes with snows, only has 24k on it, is a 2013, brand new brakes and has been maintained immaculatly

So who knows what I will decide in the next few days on it. It was owned by a 67 year old lady who just fell in love with it and decided to lease it and now is leasing a TTS from me until the new RS5 comes out.

Did the E46 ever come with this rear view mirror option? Or even the E39 for that matter?

Scheduled upcoming ///M maintenance at my dealer this morning and got a few bottles of Wheel Cleaner for a friend of mine ;)

I don't think so, though BMW may sell it for the E46 and E39 now.

Thanks. Like I said....need to go shopping for a good used one from a E90. If they are available. By chance, where did you snag your mirrors?
