Yea, most people I've seen have 1-2second faster laptimes with brand new RE71Rs. They do wear tremendously fast compared to the other tires and that is a concern even though I don't drive it that often. I think the choice really is a toss between P4S and Z3. I have to determine if the goal is better traction or longer life. Chances are it will be at least 2-3 years before I replace the tires again.Quote:

Im gonna say something that might cause a bit of discussion and start a riot or two. But in my world, thats the perfect M garage.
I guess that’s what makes me a stick in the mud, who is reluctant to change. Mine would be E46 (possibly E9x)/E39. But I’ll be damned if this isn’t the perfect M garage for the models newer than the ones I’ve been in love with since my formative years.Quote:

I’d go with that. I think the 1M wasn’t anywhere near as pretty as the M2 is and the f80 is a step up on paper from the e90, but noise it makes is terrible compared to the V8. To me these cars are still analog cars in a digital world, and I’m fine with that.Quote:

My wife is getting tired of her 135. She's looking at both of those cars...personally I'd rather have the 4 door M3 more practical with the kids... And that V8 :)
