BP. Yes they are Weisslicht Spektrum. Rear bulb carrier has been grounded which was done by the dealer from the recall. Let me check out the bulb holders and also return to the incandescent bulb.

EDIT: Swapped out bulb holder with still Weisslicht Spektrum installed. No more boosters....for now. Let's see how long this holds.

Hopefully it stays good. E46's are getting old, so problems like this will only become more common. My E30 was the same way - every time I started the car, the BRAKE light would come up on the check control and I would have to press the brakes for the warning light to go away. My E46 is now starting to do the same thing on the rear left. It is what it is... all we can do is stay on top of it.

That's actually normal operation on an E30. The check control circuit wasn't sophisticated enough to be able to perform a brake light check without the driver pressing the brake pedal to complete the circuit continuity.

But I agree..our cars are getting up in age, and we will soon have all sorts of electrical quirks showing up.

So....today i test fit the 8.5" 135s I bought. What's crazy is that I actually like the way the 255/35s look on the 8.5" rim vs. how the pos BFG G-force look...(they kinda bulge). In any case, the 8.5s fit perfectly up front. I didn't actually drive it since I only have the two and they're not balanced but from a test-fit standpoint they look great. Not too meaty or anything like that.

What stinks is that I actually like the style 197s. But to pull off a square set of them I'd have to get a set of 4 8" wheels because the offset would put them way too far out and the rear rubs on big dips as they are.

Took out the LED corners and installed two brand new front bulb holders with 7506 incandescent bulbs when I got home tonight. Still with the quick flash and bulb out @ front passenger side. Resetting battery now AGAIN. So frustrating!!

Plugged everything back in and the fast blink persists along with the bulb out warnings. I'm really at a loss of what to do at this point. :( All the bulbs in every corner illuminate without issue. I truly hope a $300 computer isn't the fix for this.

I got my issues resolved. I think you have other issues. And you can eliminate the bulb holders or even the LED bulbs. Maybe if you might really have coding issues. Hopefully it is not the LCM.
