I'd love to drive my car to the track and back. What do you pack and bring with you when you drive to a HPDE or a track day? What do you do for prep before you leave the house?

It really depends who is hosting. SpeedSF is a bunch of track buddies I know so usually there is a few people with a fair amount of tools that I can borrow if I need be.Quote:

As far as gear to the track:
Canopy
Tools
Jack/Jackstands
Extra brake fluid
Extra oil
Extra coolant/distilled water
Gloves
Rags
Tire inflator/gauge
Sometimes I bring 2x Rear 135M wheels but I've been lazy as of late.
There isn't really much to bring except a small things that will help ease any minor issues.

I'm planning to head out to Thunderhill 5-mile on Memorial Day. This is going to be first time doing the full 5-Mile since they added the west addition. The red lines is the full lap and I think 4:00 laptime seems to be a good marker for the ZHP to meet. I'm excited! :D
