first off; congrats on the new PSS! you'll love them. and you're going to need to figure out how not to rub like crazy in the rear, as the 255 PSS are W I D E (tread block is 10.2" wide!). you'll need over -2.0º camber in the rear.
secondly; you actually could've packed it more efficiently. ;)
The specs are darn near identical to the 255/40-17 RE-11's I ran at the track.
RE-11, 255/40-17:
Section width: 10.2"
Tread width: 9.4"
PSS, 255/35-18:
Section width: 10.2"
Tread width: 9.5"
They're pretty much identical in size. I shouldn't have any rubbing issues. :thumbsup
I sure am curious about what you'd propose. We really had to rack our brains to even get this configuration to fit... must've tried at least 5 different ways and always ran into an issue. :dunnoQuote:

Drove the ZHP to San Marcos TX yesterday. I had dinner with Guy (3ZHPGUY) and his wife. What a nice couple ! I had a great time. The next ZHP Family Reunion is in good hands. :thumbup
True... guess we'll just have to see.
Already tried that... just couldn't get it to work. :(Quote:
for the tires, you can stack 3 on each side of the rear seat (the seat back must be up to do this), and 2 in the trunk. the leaves plenty of room for front passengers.
Tires were too big...
I had to sit pretty far forward and straight up, too... it was a bit uncomfortable on the 1.5 hr drive back home. Needless to say, I don't ever plan on taking 8 tires in my car again, though to be fair, I didn't plan on it this time either. :dunno
Tried reading codes in my ZHP with my new (used) Peake R5 FCX3 with 20-to-16-pin adapter. Good news, no codes! Bad news, no codes (not really bad, but nothing for me to tinker with now beyond my usual maintenance list). I did manage to accidentally reset the maintenance interval back to 15,000+ miles.
The ZHP has been throwing the occasional SRS/airbag light so I need to go try reading the SRS codes with my Peake SRS reader to see if there is anything.
And go try reading my E36 with this regular Peake to see if there are any codes there.
Purchased brand new ///M carpet mats for my ///M today.
