May not be an issue on the 18s but I know people had a lot of issues with the 19” Style 313s breaking. I think $900 for a set of secondhand OE wheels with garbage tires is pretty steep.

I kind of felt that it wouldn't be "right" to put these on the ZHP. They are very open, and without a BBK wouldn't look as good as they could be. The wheels by themselves look great, but I'm a sucker for 5-spokes and the machined look.
My old wheels cracked so I'm no stranger to that lol. I'll hold off on what would probably be more of a quick fix than anything.

You guys ever change these green Riggs on the oil filter? New in photo.
I just changed them on my wife’s ZSP. 100k. They still looked decent.
Attachment 35037
I never seen them as part of the Mann oil filter. However fcpeuro includes both of them as part of their oil change kit. So I replace them everytime.
Does any have experience with the Ventus S1 Noble2 tires? My PSS are nearing the end of their life and because winter weather is more common in the new city (but not bad enough to justify snows) I’m going with A/S rubber this time.
I know the Pilot A/S3+ is the gold standard, but I really like my Hankook 200TWs so I’m considering giving their A/S tires a shot. The price is very attractive, there’s a rebate, and the warranty is actually better than Michelin or Nate’s beloved Cooper.
Sorry. I meant the re980as.
Here they are in a 235/40/18 on a 8.5" apex arc8. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1d8c04bc06.jpg

From what I've seen, tire manufacturers don't really want to warranty staggered fitments because they can't be rotated. I don't blame 'em; you can get a few thousand more out of them if you rotate them.
Michelin I think halves the warranty on staggered tires, and some don't even warranty them. It looks like Bridgestone does the same thing as Michelin. From their warranty guide:
https://www.bridgestonetire.com/cont...2001012019.pdfQuote:
For tires used on staggered fitments (vehicles with differentsize tires between the front and rear); the front tires will havethe full mileage warranty (if available) and the rear tires willhave one-half of the stated mileage warranty (if available)
Yep, those are the FM-5s. I had some Fikse Aro on my Accord before she was stolen. I got them for like 1k...stupid deal right? I want another set, need to finish where I left off.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bed9d37106.jpg

So the M2 competition came with Michelin PSS.
I thought I remember reading that they are discontinued? Replaced by the 4s?
I still see PSS for sale everywhere ...
When I spoke to a Michelin rep at MTrack days in 2017, he mentioned that they will continue to build them for at least 3 more years due to contractual obligations. He also said they will phase them out slowly with OE tires being the last to disappear. Basically Michelin should continue to make the tires available for at least 3 more years after the vehicle production had ended...

Hmm I don’t know if I am go through a set of rears in three years with the low mileage I’m running on my car, I’m running staggard.
Perhaps I’ll go for the 4s
Actually, if that was 2017, they’ll be gone in a year...

What type of pants would be the least abrasive on the alcantara seats? Some nice Ferrari track pants?
I'm going to say nylon. Or wrap the seat in Saran wrap

The actual seating area of the Alcantara seats is a resilient fabric, so no need to worry about clothing wear during normal driving. What gets rekt on those seats is the bolsters from dragging your booty across them during ingress/egress. I had a 200k mile sedan with Alcantara in great condition because the owners were all careful not to drag on the bolsters.
