So nice!
I need an e30 M3 in my life :(
Warm weather outside so sketchi got washed and cleaned inside.
Feels good to have it clean.
I was idling through a parking lot last night and my car beeped and the DSC light and Brake light came on (amber). I got home and parked it, then checked the codes just now. Its been a year or so since I scanned the car so I was expecting a lot of errors. I wasn't disappointed:
# ERRORS DETAILS - DTC(hex)/PARAM(hex)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EWS -> 0F/22 - Power on reset
ABS* -> 5E24/A0 - Pressure sensor 1/2 not plausible.
A/C -> 20/02 - AUC heating
SRS -> Shadow-memory:
61/20 - Passenger's seat belt buckle switch, resistance too low or short to ground
70/10 - Seat occupancy detector, connection to B+
03/40 - Passenger's belt tensioner, resistance too high
60/20 - Driver's seat belt buckle switch, resistance too low or short to ground
02/40 - Driver's belt tensioner, resistance too high
ZKE -> 49/3F - Customer cut-off 2: Short circuit to batt+
6C/09 - No answer driver mirror
Shadow-memory:
81/01 - Alarm memory: Door contact Driver's door
8F/01 - Alarm memory: Panic modus was activated
8A/22 - Alarm memory: Radio interior protection
90/21 - Battery Voltage: Open circuit
88/01 - Alarm memory: Hood
TEL -> 91/3F - Main antenna or compensator/combiner disconnected or shortcut
98/01 - Microphone disconnected
Shadow-memory:
11/04 - I-Bus access error
BMBT -> 01/02 - Watchdog reset
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what a lot of those mean, but I cleared all the modules and tried the scan again:
ABS* -> 5E24/A0 - Pressure sensor 1/2 not plausible.
SRS -> Shadow-memory:
61/20 - Passenger's seat belt buckle switch, resistance too low or short to ground
70/10 - Seat occupancy detector, connection to B+
03/40 - Passenger's belt tensioner, resistance too high
60/20 - Driver's seat belt buckle switch, resistance too low or short to ground
02/40 - Driver's belt tensioner, resistance too high
Those SRS codes won't clear, but I thought I recall reading that PA Soft can't clear SRS codes.
The Pressure sensor 1/2 not plausible error won't clear. I guess we will see if the light comes on when I drive it again. This is unfortunate as Im reading changing those sensors is hundreds of dollars (I don't think I can tackle messing with the brake system myself).
FCABs, glad I'm done.
