How long did the tie rods take you?
Good luck, hope you get it exchanged soon. Let us know what you think once you've installed it and had it a while.
Yup. Sprayed it down with PB blaster. Sadly I don't have an impact wrench but I now know I have to have one. Once I got the bolt out and inspected it, there's rust built up essentially to the threads. I plan to scrape it out, anti-seize, yada yada when I put it back in.
It's funny, I feel like there are waves of repairs that members do. When I first joined I want to say it was the DISA rebuild, then shocks/struts/coilovers, now tie rods.
Your cars are gorgeous, Stuart. Really great stuff.
Been busy these past 2 weekends! Last weekend was brakes all around and soldering the broken wires inside my xenon headlight. This weekend is a new rear diffuser. The old one had a nice chunk out of it right smack in the middle from the previous owner. $123 later from BavAuto, and the rear is good as new!
Does anyone want to buy an old diffuser to paint?

Lol, awesome!
You would believe how much just this portion of the wheel weighs compared to the rest of the barrel!

I was going to do that to one of my Breytons with a sawzall but never got around to it...
