Makes no sense if BMW doesn't replace your DME for bricking it. Honest to god joke and makes zero sense
Well considering it's not a recall and isn't something that's mandatory, I don't blame them for not covering it. Would you cover a bricked DME on something the customer asks you to do for them that isn't necessary?
It's one of the reasons why I tell people I don't know of the risks when I do coding for them. "I'm not responsible".

Yeah. I'll see how this goes. After a nice easy 20 mins drive home, I tackled the low speed curves in my area and the back slid out nice and easy when my right foot made the orders. Not sure if it's placebo but it felt like the lock up happened just a split second earlier making for a more fluid/direct feeling. LOL. It's probably in my head. The old fluid only came out dark transparent brown instead of black like my friends car was.
Just had these emailed to me. Now if my car would ever get back from the bodyshop I would be a happy camper:shift
