Well Heinz went to my indie shop today... getting thermostat and water pump changed. Im also getting my new UUC underdrive pulley set installed... Getting anxious...
Got my AC system properly evacuated and re-filled/recharged with R-134a. Can't say that it is any cooler now but the hissing sound that I would hear constantly when the AC was on, is completely gone now and the compressor seems to run a lot smoother. Earlier I could feel the compressor cycling very frequently and feel a noticeable 'jerk' every time it would turn on. $150 cash.
