If I had a stud conversion, I wouldn't even mess with the rotor set screw. Hell, if I had a wheel hanger I'd still not worry about it.

Agreed. But both of those options are more expensive than the stupid wheel screw.
A decent wheel hanger at ECS:

I ordered those SS rotor screws and was pleased.
That's what I have
Not for my car, but I began the process of deciphering illegible and faded maintenance records and transcribing them to a maintenance spreadsheet in preparation for selling my father's 1994 Mazda Miata w/ the R Package. The first owner drove about 10k miles in the first six months of ownership and was apparently a car/Miata guy. The R Package didn't come with leather seats so he made custom leather seats himself. They're so good I thought they were factory.
Got it all finished last night with fluid flush. Have some loud noise now from the e brake on the passenger side. Gonna go back in and either remove it or grind it down. Need to put a whole new one in eventually because it's in rough shape.
Have studs on the car so I can't do the adjustment through the bolt holes.

Installed a clutch stop and am REALLY LIKING IT! I bought the "Po' Boy" version from ECS Tuning for $10 (I tried to find the parts locally without success. The one's from ECST are straightforward, made well enough, and come with a locking nut, but I did run out and get some stainless fender washers to cover the carpet hole. I think it improves the gear shifting experience substantially. However, I do think some effort at getting it set very close to the engagement point is advisable because, otherwise, you're still searching for it. So far, I've had no issues with my car starting and seem to be getting full release (rpm's drop quickly when pressed, no noises, no smell...)--just release and it's there... smooth as butta. I do carry a wrench with me in case I ever need to make an adjustment... :)
I let him rest indoors.
