we have solutions for that...
@Hokie - I would build a box something like this for your speaker and just replace the HK setup. This way you can still use your trunk.

Does anyone know if our cars have a remote feed?
How much would a box like that cost?
Double ? right back at you buddy.
So I found an article on the BSW site that helped me a lot. Does anyone know if I need to disconnect the battery for this and where I can find the instructions for disconnecting and re-connecting the battery safely?
yeah that BSW set up is nice but damn pricey
Remove the negative pole from the battery. Done.
how do you fix that? Fill it with padding?
Oh that's it? I thought there was a "proper" way to do it. Guess not. Thanks for all the help guys! Will post up when it's done

Ok so i'm in the trunk now and have the amp out and am looking at the wiring harness. This is the source I'm using for all of this but none of the wires it says to use as the inputs are in the harness. http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/kn...tory+system%3F
Does anyone know which wires to tap into?
It looks like I almost have 2 amps?
I am just guessing and trying to remember my teenage friends setup was just the output from the stereo spliced before the speaker into the converter to the amp out to the speaker.
