Its quiet funny.. your ZHP is the first Zhp I've seen in person. The night before you picked it up I called Schomp to see if I could test drive it..they said that it was sold..and was going to be picked up in the morning by some guy driving from Nebraska haha I begged them to let me at least come and look at the car so I could see a ZHP in person. The sales guy you worked with was real nice..he drove it into the covered showroom..and let me and my dad look at it. Then he started it up and drove it back to the lot..oh man the growl it made when he started it up...:drool

After seeing your ZHP I'm hooked and am looking fiercely for my own!

I leased a C230 for 27 months, nice car. Nothing like the ZHP though. :)

Welcome! My dad and most of my family live in Plattsmouth, just drove my ZHP up there this past summer from my home in Bham, AL. One of the reasons my silver grey sedan has 205k miles on it! Long live your dream car!

And since I have a relevant thread to tell this joke, here goes:

What does the "N" on the Nebraska helmet stand for? Knowledge. Lol!

Since you had already put the deposit down on it...I was lucky just to get to see it and sit inside of it lol I'm sure Jeff thought I was half crazy wanting to see a sold car that's "Not special".. but it really helped being able to see one in person. I walked away with a big grin on my face knowing I'd be a ZHP owner as soon as I could find one. You've got a special lady on your hands ;)

My old neighbor in Colorado worked for Mercedes and always brought the newest cars home. I remember he brought a w220 s65 amg home once. He let me sit in it for about half an hour lol. I had to wipe the drool off the seat! Was your Merc an auto? What color?

Very nice! Cannot go wrong with a black MB. The drivers gearbox adds to the awesomeness also! I have only ever driven a Mercedes A-Class. In fact that was the first car I ever drove. It was in England and Mercedes World!

lol Your welcome. That's the thing.. I might be searching for a little while as I'm pretty specific on what I'm looking for... jet black or metallic sapphire black, 6MT, under 100k for coupe or under 75k for sedan (Prefer a coupe), preferably alcantara interior. Worst part is because of financing reasons it has to be at a dealership. I've been looking everyday nationwide...just waiting for the right one to come up, I've been seeing quiet a few automatic black ZHP's coming up.. but, I feel like having a ZHP with an auto is like drinking decaf coffee lol

I feel like it'll be worth the wait though.

I did not know that either! I'm glad some automakers are keeping the 3 pedal manual transmission. If it ever goes away I think it will come back eventually due to enthusiast demand. But maybe not.

Hi Garry, congrats on the ZHP purchase. I'm looking for one myself. The Imola ZHP w/ 330 ZHP plate you may have seen around Lincoln is owned by a good friend of mine. Another buddy owns a ZHP coupe but I haven't seen it yet. It could be the grey one you mentioned. Join the BMW CCA. It will save you on BMW parts at BMW of Lincoln. Trust me you can't get mail ordered parts for what BMW of Lincoln sell to us. If you need service go see Ben at European Auto Tech.

BTW, the club is having our annual planning meeting this Sat at BMWoL, 10AM. Come out and join us if you can.
