My wife looked at those too. She hated the driving position and that CVT. Ended up going with the ‘17 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate Limited. Get an awful lot of car for the money.Quote:

We rented the outback in 2016 when we in Denver for thanksgiving. It felt quite underpowered (this was at 5000-12000 feet altitude) but we quite comfortably covered more than 1000 miles in 3 days. So we thought we would at least test drive it at regular altitude and see how it feels. Agree on the CVT tranny, that wasn’t good. It definitely wasn’t wow but thought it wasn’t bad either.Quote:

Changed the oil, seafoamed it, aaaand fixed a wiring issue with the new fog lights. Well, the issue wasn't with them. The old wiring was worn. Replaced it with no issues.
