So this is what I was talking about http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388574
not an e46, but im talking about the gap between the trim and and car. Just wondering if there is stuff i can apply in there to water proof the gap
^ I’m with Pizza. Because it’s so darn good.
I have heard of no instances where water comes in from there. Those are channels meant to handle rain so water isn’t dripping into you when the door or window is open and it’s raining. Your actual door seals should be doing their job and keeping water out.
What headlight lens replacements are you guys using?
Oh believe me I know the gap is normal, and by no means do I plan on caulking it haha. I think I will just spray some wax in there. Worst case scenario i wasted 5 minutes of my life. I was thinking maybe some lithium grease, but that will just get cleaned out when I wash the car. It has rained heavily on the car and yeah, it hasn't leaked, but eh why not
