What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

yesterday i ordered an OEM Grey/Tri-Stitch steering wheel from Coby. I like the Perf Tri-Stitch leather enough, but i really miss the Alcantara. to me, it is an essential part of the ZHP experience. i already have a buyer lined up for my perf leather wheel, and have an extra core to exchange so should actually break even or better.

i also have a Coby Alcantara ZHP shift knob to match that i just haven't gotten around to installing. part of the problem is i just CANNOT get the stinkin' leather one off!! i have yanked as hard as i can and...nothing. i wonder if it's related to the fact that i had a Rogue Octane SSK installed....anyone have any ideas?

Push the gear lever into 1st/3rd and then quickly yank it into 2nd/4th while pulling away. Mine's on tight, but that always gets it off of the shifter.

Gotcha. So if you're going to sell it, why bother doing the swap? Something to do?

i figure an Alpine white clean carfax, no accident S54 swap, brakes, LSD wagon with factory xenon and tan interior with tan M3 seats (recovering with Lseat seat covers) with lumbar and bolster control could hopefully get around 12k maybe 13k

Shawn, what condition are the front seats in? Also are they sport? leather or vinyl? My drivers seat isn’t in the best condition and I wanted to find a good replacement for it.

Was a warm 54F today so I broke the ZHP out of garage-jail and took it for a wash. The hand wash place in town is closed on sundays so I drove to another hand wash place 8mi away and dang am I glad that I did. $24 for their top wash, under carriage, interior dressing, tire dressing, spray wax, everything.
