Shawn, the new sig quote is gold!
Lol. I couldn't resist ;-)

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior."
Love this pic as the title for this thread in TT.

Jax the neighbor cat warming himself on my hood tonight. Winter is here officially. Haven't washed the zhp or Miata in 6+ weeks. Finally getting rain in California.
A little morning dew. Pic taken while waiting to submit application for next years preschool for Alex. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...49d1231b09.jpg

Man that thing is sexy Stu...We miss our e53.
Hard to believe the little one is ready for preschool, Time flies. We're starting to look into that for our boys...
I think he is going to enjoy the increased interaction with other kids. Plus it will give me more time with Audrey as she grows up

All I can say is it's a pleasure and an enlightenment to experience the future of where automotive technology is going, today.

Anyone here?
@Trevor I still haven't ridden in one, I really want to. Although this is a little disappointing: https://www.yahoo.com/autos/two-thir...201137486.html
@Daniel Someone else posted that magazine cover, but I don't think anyone was able to identify whose it is (Imola on NB)
Tesla will make it right. It's not like BMW has had it's fair share of subframes failing. LOL we still buy them!
My car feels like it's a noisy shopping kart compared to the Tesla. LOL. That whole car has me impressed.
No sound from a revving engine, no care.

Looks like it's time for a car cover...
Mmmm...I can imagine the sound of teensy tiny claws scratching along the paint to gain traction on the way up to the warm hood.
If the scratches are deep enough, they will not buff out.
On my way to pick up my little ladies from school and yes I'm driving the infamous ZHP[emoji1]

The sound of exhaust doesn't matter when you know everyone you fill up with electrons it costs under $5. And the whir of the Tesla dual motors is equally high tech as it's a UFO going into warp speed. My senses were complete confused with that car. It's not even in the same experience of an internal combustion powered vehicle.
The 48/52 weight distribution, the super low center of gravity, and the weight for stability feel like a great daily driver! There isn't much side to side weight transfer feeling compared to my car which screwed with my senses.
Meanwhile I'm out loudly tormenting neighborhood Scoobs...

Well, it's officially winter in Utah http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...ac058306ef.jpg
OMG. LOL. Snow!!!
While I'm dying in 100 degrees in Central America.
That looks familiar. I spent 30 minutes this morning to shovel off the drive, then spent exactly two hours doing the same commute that usually takes me 20 minutes. Bangerter was stop-and-go all the way to I-15, so was Redwood to get to Bangerter, and so was my favorite back-road that parallels Bangerter to my office in Draper. LOLs at the guy sliding around in his new Mustang with big summer tires.
Now, do I spend the $500 I had earmarked for a new toolbox on a snowblower instead, or try to scrape by (excuse the pun) with the good old shovel one more season. :shift
Oh, and we definitely need to try to get all the Utah ZHPs together at a Meetballs this spring!

nice, shawn! is this normal for you at this time of year?
it's sunny and 59F out here today. and is supposed to be above freezing for the rest of the month.... weird! i've never delayed putting the winter wheels on this late before - it's going to be january before they go on!
how big is your driveway? i wrestle with this every winter. my driveway is 150' long... i always think, "shoveling is good exercise" before the snow flies. then by february, when i'm clearing several feet of it off that driveway every week, i want the snowblower...

I hear ya! Luckily I don't have to get on i-15 to get to work. Heard it was backed up for 2 hours this morning! I'm definitely trying to go to a lot more local meets this next year! Let me know when and I'll try my best to be there!
It's usually pretty normal around here, although the last few winters have been extremely dry. This will be the second year I've had to drive my zhp in the snow. Luckily I have all seasons so the car actually drives somewhat well! I really need to find myself a cheap winter warrior....
Not as big as yours! Mine is a little more than two cars wide and about 3 cars deep. Then there's a side-drive which is kind of steep. Then, there's the two approaches plus about 200 feet of sidewalk. It takes me a solid hour ass-busting to shovel it all. I don't mind a little exercise, and if it was just shoving it around, it would be fine. But, the snow here can get pretty wet and heavy, so it's a lot of lifting, which at this point in my life gets a little more risky - especially considering how much regular exercise I *don't* get.
Thinking about a nice mid-range Toro single-stage 21-incher if I decide to go ahead. $500 ballpark.
