Bingo. Something like 5 of those 8mm (maybe 10mm?) hex across the bottom, and 1 plastic clip on each side. Pretty simple once you get a hang of the clippy-things.

yep. the hardest one is above the exhaust.

Thanks for the hints--I have a new diffuser waiting to go in.

I installed my other Koni strut today--it was an even bigger PITA than the other one. I HATE assembling struts... Are coilovers any easier to work with?

Next up: Turner pedals, rear diffuser, and headlight lenses.

Depends if it has the upper perch already installed. I’m pretty sure the PSS don’t, but some others do. That reminds me I need to order a replacement part for my camber plate, and then I’ll get to play with spring compressors...again.

really? with lowering springs, you shouldn't need spring compressors.... or, at least, i don't need them. :) i compress by hand and then thread on the top nut.

with stock springs, compressors are required.

with PSS, no compressor required.

Try as I might, I couldn’t compress them enough to expose enough thread to get the nut to grab on. It was really close though.

Using the compressors with the H&Rs is much less terrifying than the OE springs...definitely something I don’t have to convince you of.

no, you don't! i hate those things. but, i have come up with a way to do it that doesn't terrify me as much - i double wire-lock the compressors to the springs, so they can't come off. it's tedious, but it works. i've done 4 springs since 'the incident' - no slippage.
