I’m four states and nearly 1,000 miles from my still disassembled ZHP, but I found a good price on a NIB set of Turner underdrive pulleys conveniently for a Bosch alternator.

I hope to have this thing drivable again by May...

Thanks a lot all! (And thanks Jeff, somehow your quote didn't stick). I am definitely liking the different lighter feel re: responsiveness/quickness in steering. Still getting used to the looks but really like it.

Ordered a new re-man driveshaft from Driveshaft Specialists in San Antonio TX. Telling BMW parts dept to pound sand. $1300 is ridiculous to spend for a new driveshaft. New DS is $444 and includes shipping both ways (returning core).

Well, there's new & then there's rebuilt. If the rebuild is well done with all new joints & bearings & with warranty go for it! I've used Driveline Services in Atlanta with favorable results.

Installed slater’s STB tonight... Only took about 15 minutes.

Bar itself is only 12.4oz. All-in only about 2.5lbs...Attachment 32757Attachment 32758
