If you’re not super opposed to manifold removal it can be done 95% from above. It’s not something I’d be dying to do again, but it wasn’t terrible. My forearms look like I tried to pet a badger though.

I bought a brand new Bosch one from a (seemingly) legit retailer’s eBay store during one of the times Nate posted a 10-15% promo code. It ran me about $130 I think.

Yep I ran my brother’s family off this morning and I managed to get started after lunch. I can’t imagine doing that on anything but a cold engine.

Yikes! I better add that to my list for when I do my clutch... I got a big 'ol supercharger in the way... gonna be hard enough to do the clutch

Installed new Akebono ceramic pads and StopTech rotors yesterday... I was so sick of cleaning my wheels every other day that I just had to get some low-dust pads. I'll post impressions at some point... I'm hoping the slotted rotors will help offset some brake torque lost due to the ceramic pads...

Replaced the windshield cowl today. The rear window seals are next on the to-do list. That and sanding down the trunk.

Those StopTechs look nice. I have their blanks in the back and they’ve done very well at corrosion resistance. I’ll add them up front when it’s time.

I just replaced a set of StopTech slotted rotors up front. They got the job done... I wouldn't expect much with pedal feel with ceramic pads though, regardless of the type of rotor or caliper. My Hawk Performance Ceramic pads feel a little vague even with Wilwood calipers.

Www.yourmechanic.com did mine for between $500-600. New Bosch starter. He did remove the manifold.

I snagged this Porsche 996 4pot front and rear kit for $1200 locally. Came with calipers, adapter brackets, rotors and pads and SS lines. All bolted up nicely.
