My car got hit while parked at the office, minding its own damn business. Best part is the person who hit me is my supervisor, and my last day on the job is Friday. The rest of the week is going to be super awkward.

Looks like I won’t be doing my autocross in Atlanta or track day at CMP after all. I guess now I can try to get a Euro front bumper without reflectors...

Man that really sucks I'm sorry to see this...
If you're serious about a euro front bumper without the reflectors you can have insurance spray it for free instead of the bumper you have. Just need to find a shop and get them the bumper in time. Thankfully the fender doesn't look scratched, you may be able to get by without spraying it.
I feel your pain man I had this exact same thing happen to me when I was parked at the gym. Same exact spot same exact damage. Feelsbadman

Yea, Khoalty is done. And apparently everyone says the Umnitza reflector-less bumpers are shit. Super flexible, poor fitment. I guess I’ll just get a regular bumper again.
And Rob, it’ll take a new bumper not a repaint of the existing one. It ripped out of the mount/etc. The fender is scratched (as is the headlight lens). Probably going to have to repaint that too. My dad’s E60 was sideswiped and they used some cheap/used parts (read: nothing close to the condition of the car before it was hit), so I’m going to be VERY particular about the shop I use. My supervisor knows me well enough to know if his insurance tries to f*ck me I’m going to make him go out of pocket, and he’ll do it—I don’t like working for the guy, but he’s not a bad guy. I thought he was going to have a panic attack when he told me.
