Dropped her off at the bodyshop this morning. By the time I get her back it will have been 5 weeks since I got hit. Sigh...

Used the power washer to strip off the failing paint from the trunk. Top layer is mostly gone save for the parts that were badly over sprayed. The base coat is still there in most places but I'll be hand sanding it down.

Thanks. It was a big decision but the paint was beginning to fail badly so I decided go go ahead and bite the bullet. I'm excited to get it done though. It'll be nice to have the body back in top form.Quote:
