My mechanic thought it was the VANOS seals that I replaced. I replaced them months ago, but a few months later every time I start up the car, there is a grinding/rattling when I first turn on the car, and then around 1,500 RPM.

My A pillar torx heads are stripped.... so who knows what kind of headache that’ll cause when I have to remove

I'm replacing my exhaust manifold today and hopes that it's a clogged cat causing my misfire on bank 2 and loss of power.

Botond I know you had clogged cats before but did you have lean conditions or misfire on top of your loss of power or was it just loss of power and that's it

I have the exact same issue. I'm waiting to do my emissions test before I swap my headers on. I'm 90% sure my cats are shot.

In my case it was just a loss of power. No CELs, no misfiring; just the balls of half a Prius.

I'll keep you posted once I have more info... Miss having my weekend drive..

Stopped by my local dealership and got my wiper blades replaced for free and they did a "recall check" using my key.
