What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Oh I forgot, great shine on your car David!

Replaced the Y intake tube, had the usual 70K hole in the snorkel.........this one was a real PIA....over an hour to get the lower tube off due to the hoseclamp positions...wow. FInally ended cutting off most of the boot, that really helped.
Also diagnosed my windshield washer pump.....dead and new one on order.

I hated my car when I replaced torn lower intake boot.. Hose clamp was in worst position to reach.. It would be easier to drop the engine and fix it :D

How many stages are there? I thought that price got a higher stage level.

What kind of power are you looking at?

They have 2 Stages.

Stage 1 runs at 8psi stage 2 I think 10.

Stage one gives 365 HP
Stage two gives 405 HP

You can always add methonol/water..

Stage two is around 6 Grand..

This is a really good deal! I have this diff in my car right now... there is a slight performance gain going from the 3.07 to 3.15 but more importantly this is a well built, modified M3 style unit in a 330 housing... direct bolt in...

They cover the damage to point... these splitter don't wrap around to the wheel well. Unforunately, these were a one time group buy from some guy in Europe...I don't think they are available any more.

Yea the X5 is an awesome machine... with 360HP, it blows the doors off of most cars yet it's comfortable and can pull a 6000 lb trailer

Changed my oil, Mobil 1 0w40 euro blend and mann filter. Found a good tear on my upper intake boot so ill be ordering the replacement today, I should replace upper and lower while im there but I hear horror stories of changing the lower, is it that bad?

it's not that bad as long as you can swear like a drunk sailor ;)

check your DISA, plus clean TB and ICV if you're going in there already. Might wanna do CCV also at the same time

I'm disappointed with an Indy I decided to try.

I got a 2005 Mini Cooper one month ago. It was leaking a little oil, so I took it over there. They changed the oil and replaced the "O ring crankshaft sensor". My Dad went to pick up the car and I didn't drive it for some days. Yesterday I noticed the SES light is on plus they didn't reset the oil interval.

Now, I need to go again so they can make things right !
