We got that 35 mm and a 28mm after we saw the incredible shots Marc and Casey took at the Las Vegas mini meet a few years ago. I wish we had more time to use our good cameras.
Completely agree, the D5000 I have now is good as long as the lighting is good and I tend to shoot a lot at night times lol
So I'm looking at a camera for good high ISO performance and while I think the D72(3)00 is good enough I just kept thinking if I should just spend the extra cash and go for the D500 because it seems like a step above any other crop sensor camera...

I've been happy with my 6D even at 10,000ISO. It's nice to have a big huge sensor to bring in all that light without making it look muddy and overly noisy.
If they still make it, I would highly recommend a Slik 330 DX Pro for the best sub-$100 tripod. I still have mine (if you're interested) but a D700 with vertical grip and lens is close to its max weight.
I bought a lot of nice gear when I had a great employee pricing plan. Half of it I could never afford at retail pricing. But we got ~50% off Bogen/Manfrotto.

Luckily I've got a ton of camera equipment at my disposal through my school including tripods, gimbals, etc

Yeah, it performs pretty well. The size is the main reason for going with a mirrorless cameria. The autofocus is supposed to be pretty good in these cameras. I also like the telephoto lens that came in the kit.
I'm planning on keeping this for a while, though the a6500 is looking pretty nice. The in-body stabilization and touchscreen are two features I would like, but not for $1,400.

We actually have a separate photography thread so this thread can remain for pictures.

Also posted on my project thread.
Only adjustment is cropping. Sorry for the tight crop, trying to get some of the garage clutter out of the picture.

Was looking through old photos when I found a picture of my dads first BMW, 2002(I believe) e39. I have so many childhood memories with this car that it was warming to see this picture. That blue color just has me drooling. Living in Germany it was imaginably difficult to find an automatic BMW seeing as he still has no idea how to drive stick lol, but he did and you can see in the pic that he's absolutely beaming

Now I'm on a mission to find this car and buy it. And I'm dead serious. I need this car and this color with these wheels in my life

Those pics make me miss my father's '98 E39 540i. Like you, I had so many good memories with that car.
