I'm not sure the percentage difference but it is definitely shorter. you can tell by the length of the rod underneath the ball is longer on the z3m lever. I find myself overthrowing my 3rd shifts cause I'm not used to the short throws quite just yet. The feel of the shifting has a bit more notch to it but that was the exact feel I was looking for.
I wanted to remove the slop in my shifter. Since the lever ball is made out of plastic, the ball wears out and introduces play. I figured I might as well get a z3m lever if I am replacing the shift lever. Also I replaced all the rubber seals, the white ball housing, and the clips as well.

Got my oil filter housing gasket and oil separator finally done! Unfortunately I didn't have time this week and laguna is this Sunday. Had a tech help me out and do the work.
