That Arqray looks great!
While it wasn't today, it was earlier this week. I installed a set of urethane control arm bushings that I got from BMP Design(.com). It was WAY easier than I expected.
Oddly, the bushings that I received looked a lot more like the MTC bushings than the bmpdesign bushings. Either way, I was just happy to have the bushings, the OEM ones were entirely shot :(
Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with the new bushings. The ride is extremely tight now and I don't have all of the problems that come from having blown OEM bushings (it was REALLY bad). Installation only took 2 hours at the most. I could have done it in less time but it was my first time under the car messing with the suspension. The only problem is that as some people have reported, the MTC/BMP bushings do squeak sometimes. I'm going to take them off again and give them some grease to hopefully quiet them up. If that doesn't work or I have other problems, I'm going to get a set of the Merle (sp?) bushings.
The car is soooo tight and smooth right now though, I love it! :)
Today I hit 115,000 miles.
Merry Christmas ZHP
Just purchased my ///M aluminum pedals.... now the wait until I get them...:)

Got my son tinkering on his Xmas present ('01 325ci). He scrubbed the carpets, stole his mom's old black carpeted mats (old is relative, only 25k miles on them), rotated his tires (found a nail, will fix this week), corrected tire pressures, checked the oil, changed his rear license plate bracket, and all new license plate screws (to meet Eli's standards). Next he somehow talked his mom into moving her Denali out of the garage and getting his coupe in next to her ZHP, not sure how that worked.
The bigger movement was the wife in the garage using the shop vac to clean her car up so her new Xmas carpeted floor mats (for a conv vs. a coupe) could be installed. She has never, ever cleaned her '07 Denali, this cleaning of her ZHP is starting to become routine, she's going to steal some of my car care duties.
Sounds like your son is a very happy camper :) I think that's awesome :thumbsup
Sunshade woes. Boy oh boy oh boy. I took a look at the damage today. Here's what I need to do:
1. Brand-new sunshade. One of the metal parts that hold the plastic clips on is completely broken. Therefore, it's totally impossible for me to properly repair the sunshade. New sunshade: $100
2. The sunshade driver is completely jammed in the rear of the sunshade. When the small metal piece rolls over it to move the driver back to the front, it simply just catches and then rolls over the driver. Headliner needs to come off. I'm glad I have the sunshade repair kit with the updated driver. I hope I can get the driver off.
I'm gonna tackle this one tomorrow. I'm really terrified to take off the headliner - there are so many pieces that are coming out of my car. I just don't want to mess it up. I'd love to take it to a professional but the labor will kill me.
Jeeze, BMW really dropped the ball on this sunshade. I wish they made a recall for it.
Wish me luck!
