Agreed. Loved the color combo of melbourne red and walnut. And she was really quick.
I didn't get it either but never felt the need to color change them. It was a 35is distinguishing feature from all the other Z4s. I swapped out the side lights for the '13 side light nike swoosh. Made a big difference in appearance.
Seriously...[emoji52]

Been there. I swear, the risk for a bird relieving itself on your car is inversely related to how long it has been since you last cleaned your car e.g.

Also, this is how birds think, probably:

All cleaned up after running back and fourth 10 times to the office kitchen to fill my 1L water bottle. Got my steps in!! [emoji23]

You guys need a portable bird poo system...
Get you some o this:

Mix a few ounces with water in one of these:

And throw it in the trunk with one of these:

Spray the poo spot. Let it dwell for 30-60 seconds, carefully wipe up the poo bits, spray again, wipe gently with a clean section of the cloth.
Your paint (and coworkers) will thank you.
I don't have to worry too much. Ceramic is protecting where half the poop was. I just thought it would be more of a PITA if it sits in the sun longer and my car was in the shade until now. I would say always have a bottle of club soda in so you can have pressurized water if you're hardcore.
Waterless Wash works great as well with a MF towel

Crap... anything damaged besides the fluid?

That's annoying. Definitely get in contact with them.
Well. That miniature Exxon-Valdez just sapped up all of the time that I was going to spend on other projects tonight. Nothing else was damaged, but every little parts bag had oil in it. Lots of paper towels and dish soap later, we're good.
So it's pretty funny: they packaged everything loose because there wasn't anything big and sharp that would bust a bottle of oil, right? But they forgot how ridiculously sharp the point is on the seatbelt buttons that were in the order.

That right there is a squeaky clean puncture wound.
I cleaned the area around the wound, dabbed some glue on the hole, and covered with tape.

Everything looks to be ok now. I even made a drip pad for the little guy.

Just glad I don't need a full 2 quarts for the diff.
Wow, that's bad. I never got such a bad experience with car parts delivery, especially for the fluids.

The worst I had was an order of BMW wheel cleaner that came in a box filled with sand. It was such a mess when I opened it. Sand went everywhere and was all in the pump trigger mechanism. I called to complain and they told me it was a USPS requirement... well I've never had anyone else do that and they could have at least put the spray bottles in a separate bag...
Needless to say I have never ordered from them again.
I've had some fluids leaked, but nothing too bad. It wasn't oil. The sand idea is just mind blowing.
The used AFE intake I got on ebay came packaged in loose packing peanuts, which doesn't seem like the best of ideas.

Oh wow the collector is there for service. Antique compared to the other cars there. [emoji23]
I saw this gem at breakfast this morning. Wish I could have caught the owner for a chat.

Attended an event with the local MINI Car Club. We met in North Austin, drove thru downtown, and ended in a shopping center located on the West side of town. 11 MINIs showed. It was fun.

Helping diagnose my friends rough idling/misfiring '01 540i but it's not showing any codes and it operates fine on the move and even in WOT. But those wheels make the E39 so baüs.
