When I was taking her home from her opthalmology appointment I came to a red light and did a few rev match downshifts for some engine braking. At the light she looked over to me and said that she liked the vroom the engine made when I did that. I started laughing hysterically when she said this. It caught me COMPLETELY off guard as this is the last thing I ever expected to hear her say about my car. She is the most conservative person I know so this had me laughing the entire way back. :rofl

^ good stuff! I remember not too long after I got my ZHP we had a death in the family (about 6 years ago) so the whole family got together and an Aunt of mine came up to me at one point over the weekend and said "I would take this (my ZHP) any day over that ugly Corvette your Uncle Terry has." We all have one of those "Uncle Terry's" in our family, the guy that gets a new Corvette (or insert any array of make and model vehicle) every few years and thinks they are made of pure solid gold. We used to live in the same town as I was growing up before I moved away as an adult and he is the reason I don't care for Corvette's to this day. I am sure they are great cars, but I'll never own one.
