I was able to sand and paint the top one but the bottom one is too hard to get to and looks like crap
Ever contact DrVanos about it?
Had a fun experience with aerodynamic lift at 75-80 (ish) when a flat nose RV cut in right behind me. He was a good foot off the rear bumper. Cause the car to lift and jump to the right.
Was a fun experience
Whoa freaky
Always wondered why mine did that. They also reverted the spring in my unit, and I chased starting issues for 2 years because of that. Found out by chance when I was replacing the entire unit with a used one w/ Beisan seals after stripping and drilling through the camshaft sensor screw.
Seems like their process as a whole needs some work.
Replaced originals at 230k. One boot was dry and had a lot of play, other one looked like it had some life left. Replaced both "while in there" while I was doing struts and control arms.
I run 0W40 year-long in Quebec. Cheap, approved, and works perfectly fine!
Yea a few years ago Dr Vanos was having issues with their process. How long a go did you replace?
When replacing the coolant cap, is it mandatory to bleed the system?
I am swapping to GAS Radiator Coolant Cap.
