FOTY award goes to you sir! Is he permanently keeping it, or are you taking it back after he heads off to school again? LOL

Well, it's 1:20 am and I needed a break from studying. So, this is what I'm doing... I would take any maintenance over studying at the moment!

Fixing my headlights per Jupiter's suggestion... I had given up on the headlights last year, moving on to other things- but I'm back now and hopefully it's as easy to remedy as it seems!

Took longer than planned, but I fixed the one e90 bowl I had installed, and them tore down and rebuilt the other headlight... I played with an old bulb to test the bulb depths and how they worked on the light pattern, and found that only about 1/8" of the nibs need to be taken down.

Chad - I couldn't help but notice you didn't have a heat shield on the inside panel of your hood, did you take it permanently off?
^Same here. Had to cut it for the performance strut brace and then ended up just removing it all together.
My understanding is that it's for sound deadening, not heat.
Thanks. I'd planned for it to be his car all along--though I have gotten quite attached to it. We sold his '02 33oCi shortly after he left for Europe as he wanted a sedan. He will be driving it to SC when he heads back to school in the Fall.
I'm trying to talk my VP of Finance (read wife) into letting me pick up another ZHP for me and my 18YO to share--marketing campaign continues.
Tony, I hope to get him to join the mafia, but he is not a big forum person--marketing campaign continues. Maybe I need to hire a consultant!
I will continue here and force him to be part of the mods and maintenance going forwards. We have headlight leveling and Aux jack on the short list. I"m sure he'll have more like tint, etc.
