so this may have been answered somewhere else but it is possible to power wash the engines?
I'm flattered. Thank you.
^ It has been discussed. It seems if you ask 3 experts, you get four answers.
The best I've been able to discern is that power washing is frowned upon due to the potential for water intrusion with respect to electronics from the high pressure.
However, water from a garden hose or other source is fine provided basic steps are taken, i.e. covering the alternator with aluminum foil/plastic, not drowning the electronics control box, etc.
I've done my engine bay several times using a garden hose to rinse with zero issues.
I bought two sheets of finished CF sheeting that I''m going to Dremel to make covers for the drug bin and EC box.
Nice Keith! You even beat me to it. Definitely looking forward to pics.
@Ryan, love your engine bay
@Albert - (or any SoCals) I have 2 extra cans of that Adams cleaner (I bought a 3pack for $30). Happy to help out the cause of clean ZHP engine bays. Need to use it before I post a pic of mine. It looks OK but not great.

My engine compartment looks like the engine compartment of a stock, black sapphire ZHP sedan except with a few grimy areas.
