No fair. :(
Friggin' love R33's... my favorite style of GT-R.
GT-R's wont be 25 for another 2 years. I'm finding some pages saying they're legal but I'm not sure how since they don't meet the age requirement. Would have to do more research.
This page seems to have the details but I don't have time to read through it right now.

Ah, I forgot the GT-Rs didn’t start in ‘93. I expect R33 prices to stay fairly reasonable, since everyone’s going to go berserk for R34s. I’d have no reservations importing another car, but the only non-Skyline JDM car I’m interested in is an S15, which is going to command some stupid money.
This is the general summary from that document:
Though based on the comment on that page there could be other issues? emissions?Quote:
Final Decision
Accordingly, on the basis of the foregoing, NHTSA hereby rescinds
its decision, granted on November 15, 1999, that 1990-1999 Nissan GTS
and GTR Passenger cars are eligible for importation into the United
States. NHTSA hereby decides that Nissan R33 model GTS and GTR
passenger cars manufactured between January 1996 and June 1998 are
eligible for importation into the United States because they have
safety features that comply with, or are capable of being altered to
comply with, all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards.
Aaaand it's times like this I think I should have bought a GTR instead of my Stealth TT.... Meh, I've got a minute before R33's hit.

1993 Toyota supras n/a and turbo models are not allowed to be imported. But with that comes a hefty pricetag.
Saw one listed for $42k

Together one last time. The X5 is for sale. The 2002 and M Roadster are taking a train trip to Sanford, FL on Thursday for storage in Tampa. The ZHP will go to PR next month.

Use some pro prep after cleaning. your engine bay will look brand new, including the plastic no matter how scratched and dull it is and it leaves a protective coating... amazing stuff.

LOL. i want to say that i've never cleaned an engine bay like that before, or since - but i did wipe down the bay in the Touring while it was empty (before the ZHP motor went in).
cool, thanks for the tip, rob! i'm not an engine bay detailer, so maybe this will help with that. :)
I demoed it at the first Mafia meet back in 2011. I think it was my wife's 325... didn't even clean the dirty bay... just sprayed it down with this and it looked great! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. I've started using on the jet boat engine and nozzle to protect against salt water corrosion.
Use the purple cleaner... used to be called castrol super clean but now it's something else... to clean the engine bay before spraying with the pro prep. Just spray it on and hose it off about 5 min after applying... doesn't get any easier than that :)
but oil is petroleum... not good for plastic or rubber
Did you try this pro prep stuff on the bumper and door trim?
