Just picked up my VCG today :^)
I now have everything needed to do the VANOS rebuild when I come down for the "Mafia" reunion :)
Also have new ignition coils to put in :biggrin
Performance intake installed & makin' noise! It's such a subtle increase in audible badassery that I had to take a couple third-gear pulls on the highway just to make sure I did it right! :innocent
Now I'm just waiting for the rest of my parts to arrive to complete my VANOS job, cooling system refresh, underdrive pulleys, diff. flush, & fuel filter.
Document your VANOS job. Presently, I am not very comfortable of me tackling the VANOS replacement....maybe I might grow into it to do this myself when the time comes. Reading through past threads, even after they did the VANOS, they still encounter problems after install.
I'm not sure what more I could add to the official Beisan walkthrough; is there anything specific you'd like me to cover?Quote:
