Testing the drone for rolling shots without anyone’s help!

Haha nice! I collect old consoles and computers. I'm hunting for a Heathkit H19 or Wang 2200DP right now. I grew up using machines like those and it's nice to work with them sometimes. Plus, you really get the picture of how much technology has exploded in the last 50 years or so. Heck even just taking things back to 1990, there's a massive gulf between the tech.
Trevor!!! That's so cool!!
Do you have an Amiga? They were way ahead of their time!

Kid you not I was nerve racked. Driving the car, flying the drone, making sure I didn’t crash the car, making sure i don’t fly into a tree, while framing and trying to take a picture. This is hazardous work. LOL. I think next time I’m going to need a driver. haha
#DistractedFlying
If you’re ever in Portland, I’ll take the horrible job of being your driver.

That is so cool Trevor! I don't have the coordination for that... Something would crash
I've seen like wristbands that you can wear and the drone follows behind. I think on some of them you can set the height/distance you want it at. Great for hiking snowboarding. Just watch out for any low power lines.
Mmmm [emoji848][emoji848] still think imola looks better https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fb8e685a7e.jpg

Lowers value, because it is no longer original and has been significantly modified from stock. With that, the risk of them not doing the job properly is introduced, or at least the uncertainty of it.

The M badge in the grill and the bimmian-esque stripes on the side skirts would make me exercise caution. I don't know why, I just do.
However, as BP said you could argue that the value has been lowered now that it isn't original. Sucks for a seller, but is great so the guy who just wants to enjoy a 6-speed.
CL ad for the M3:

Oof, SMG to 6MT swap but kept the SMG steering wheel. At least you could sell the old wheel to someone on M3forum who needs a rewrap core.
Couple of things:
(1) as Mystic really a rare color on the M3? I thought it was pretty common, where Topaz would be the rare blue.
(2) if you plan to keep the ZHP (or at least keep it for a little while) then for $9.5k that has potential to be a nice car with a little work, and assuming everything else checks out.
Edit: isn’t there a service interval around this mileage? It could be due for several things, which I assume the seller hasn’t taken care of based on the other things previously mentioned (Vanos, valve adjustments, suspension is probably toast, etc.). The S54 is definitely a different beast, and is the reason I decided on a ZHP—my budget certainly allowed for an E46 M3, but I wasn’t sure I wanted to deal with having one as my only car.
Master active track in an empty baseball field and learn how you can control hour drone’s angles and altitude as it constant tracks you as you walk around the field. Once you get that you’ll want an open space for car shots until you learn the drone’s AI more. You’ll want to fly where you can run the camera at max 1/60 of shutter although 1/30 is preferable. To get that shot without over exposing you’ll need to either wait until it gets dark enough or purchase ND filters for the lens.
My rental. Pit stop en route Cologne. I’m loving the drive. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4fdb55a202.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...20483eb174.jpg

Cool, thanks. I've been thinking about getting a set of ND filters. Maybe I'll just pick ip a set so I have more flexibility in the time of day at which I can shoot.
So you have the Mavic? I was actually thinking about using the waypoints feature, not active track, because I thought active track has a limit to how fast it can go. I've seen some online tutorials/ videos; the drone is always too far away from the car, and it often can't keep up or loses track of the subject. I was thinking of using waypoints to set a fixed path and then just drive the predetermined route.
