Does anyone have a recommendation for the serpentine and AC belts for our cars?
I put a set of Continental (OEM I think?) brand belts on 14 months ago, and now I think I have an intermittent belt squeak/chirp for the first 20 or so minutes of driving, even though the ambient temp. is pretty warm here right now. I replaced all tensioners and pulleys with OEM INA parts at that time as well.
OK, guys... So a follow-up on my earlier question about my coolant leak. It looks like a pressure relief plug on the expansion tank is leaking, at least to me. But I went ahead and started a thread on it in the Mechanical/troubleshooting subforum....

Sounds like it could be one of the pulleys, first see if you see the belts wiggling side to side they should be running smooth and straight, then take of the belts and try spinning the pulleys if they spin easy thats a sign of a bad, when spinning it should turn about half a turn thats a good pulley.Quote:

found the answer to my own problem Ive had this clunking going on in the front right and just tried moving the sway bar end links and it moves on the right side but not the left ill just replace them both so 2 of them lemforder brand is 50 looks like im getting free shipping :rockon
