it's actually a pretty darn serious issue. lots of canadian citizens, even if they were not born here, get denied entry into the US since trump was elected - with a valid passport! it's ridiculous.

Getting a Canadian visa should not be a big deal for you - especially if you have a steady job in the US and can prove that you are going to return after the trip.

Entering the US and being questioned on your religious beliefs and asked to hand over your phone, social media passwords etc...yeah thats the main thing you need to worry about.

I hope I don't run into any unnecessary bullshit at the border when coming back from Calabogie... Being a U.S. Citizen doesn't seem to exempt you from the drama, it seems.
