The most random event occurred just now....didn't spot a ZHP, but I did see 3 E46s and an Aston Martin within 2 sec of one another.
On the 60 fwy, first a silver grey E46 M3 pulls up to my left but I didn't notice, I pull two lanes to the left and end up on his left side, doesn't even look even with windows down.
Then, a black E46 M3 vert showed up in the carpool lane. Then an imola 330i. And then finally, a silver DB9.
Guess something's going down in the area...
AW ZHP coupe AT sitting in Grayson BMW's service lot.
I was walking and saw a black F10 M5, I was like "ohhh nice", then saw a blue F10 M5 and was like, "OHHH nice", then saw the AW ZHP and was like, "OMG NICEE". :)

Saw a beautiful '05 vert in Hermosa Beach. Was about to put a card on it and the owner came out. Original owner, all orginal on the car, guy in his high 50's, low 60's maybe. Told him about the "zhp car club", which he said he heard of but decided not to join. Didn't push it cuz you could tell he liked the car, but just not THAT into it.

Today was the day for beautiful E46s 'round here:
On my way to work I followed a very clean Silbergrau M3 out of my neighborhood, had an AW M3 pass the two of us (& wave!), & saw an IR ZHP vert at work! I didn't have time to leave a note for the IR at work, but if I see it again I shall inform him / her that the Mafia has noticed his / her presence . . . :mafia
Saw a very very clean black/black vert at Home Depot yesterday. Didn't have my Mafia cards with me (they're in my ZHP... obviously not driving it right now!) so I left one of my Realtor cards on it and wrote on there "Call me re: BMW 330i ZHP"

And then yesterday evening I saw a guy driving a TiAg vert, heading South on I-95 in the Boca Raton area... Car looked decently clean, guy didn't look like an enthusiast. Now that I think about it, looked like he was driving with a broom stuck up his... Well, you get the idea... I tried to get his attention, but no luck...
Just saw a silver gray convertible zhp on the 15 north near Rancho Bernardo.
Ten minutes later I saw a silver gray coupe zhp in Escondido at the Promenade shopping center.
I don't think either of them realize how non special their cars are.

I regularly spot a silver grey ZHP convertible parked at fitness evolution in North Seattle. Once saw a silver grey sedan there as well... Never have seen any owners though.

Hahaha, I've seen those youtube videos each a million times (like most of you too I bet!). I'm actually not sure what it was, but I was completely awe struck on the sound. It kept me on my toes from start up (I was like Whoa! WTF!?) then he/she simply pulled out of the parking lot and casually drove off, but the sound was amazing. Never gunned it, but OMG that sound was perfection - sounded like some sophisticated exhaust. Music to my ears - just amazingly amplified, yet so suave.

Spotted a silver grey zhp sedan NB on I95, got off the same exit as me, Exit 53.
Define early model; if you mean an early ZHP, then they definitely weren't the base model steelies. Those are only 16", which don't clear the front brakes...Quote:
