Yes you have to. the engine mounts are connected to the cross member. It's going to be pretty hard to drop the cross member without unbolting the engine mounts. Make sure you get a new o-ring for the dipstick tube. You'll be thinking it's a huge PITA when you're taking it a part. When you put it all back together, you'll be thinking that wasn't too bad...
Will grills from a coupe fit a sedan? or are they different?

I'm curious about an iridescent rainbow effect that is appearing on the black 'high-gloss satin trim' at the base of my windows. I can rub the trim hard to lessen its visibility but I'm wondering what causes it and if things are going to get worse with time.
I don't even need polish to reduce the iridescence: rubbing with a microfiber cloth works. I'm just wondering what causes it and if it will get worse over time.
