I’m doing this right as usual. I can’t believe I have waited 8 years to finally install this. I’m surprised Hieu has not come here to give me a hard time for waiting this long to do this update to my M3 project . . .

The carbon fiber contrasts very well against the Titanium Silver paint

The fitment of this Challenge carbon fiber roof panel was perfect. No trimming was needed to get it perfectly fitted.
There’s such thing as too much carbon fiber but this doesn’t fall under that.
Always loved the addition of these on M3 projects, very cool piece
My carbon fiber roof panel has been refinished with two fresh coats of UV clear, wet sanded between coats then polished to a nice clear shine then bonded to my car. 😎

My M3 should be ready for me by this Friday😏 The sharkfin antenna that used to be on my M3 won't be used since BMW Assist no longer supports the E46 chassis going forward. I don't see any need to reinstall this antenna so it is getting deleted in favor of keeping my roof panel clean.

My Challenge carbon fiber roof panel has been bonded to my M3 and set so tomorrow the front and rear glass will be installed next. The euro headliner and CSL roof insulation pads has been installed so not much left to do on my current project.https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...4c15a497_k.jpg
Here’s a shot showing my new euro headliner installed. It has been a long time coming for my M3 to get this roof panel installed but it is better late than never. It’s getting done Hieu!

I’m loving the contrast between my new carbon fiber roof panel and my titanium silver paint. It’s looking pretty nice!
How is the Euro headliner different from US version?

Finally after 15 years, my M3 garage is completely cleared out. All shelving and stuff piled onto them have been removed.

Back in May when I decided to move, I was not sure I could make my move happen before Autumn and it has worked out where I will be making my drive south to Florida by this upcoming weekend. I'm looking forward to warmer temps and discovering the car culture there. I am already connected with a good BMW shop in Daytona Beach which is not too far from where I am living.
Yes my tow hook cover will be replaced as soon as I leave Rhode Island for good. I have one stop in Connecticut to drop off a grinder Botond left behind. I will make the change there before departing for Shady Side, MD where I will be visiting with my good friend Brett. Best part about this trip is there are no time constraints so I can take my time driving back to my new home. This trip will be all about having fun. I was going to stop over at the BMW Performance Center so I can get a few pictures of my M3 but with recent hurricane flooding in the area the roads were questionable at best and I was advised to skip this stop for the time being.
I'm closing this chapter with my M3 in Rhode Island to begin my new chapter opened by my ZHP moving it to Florida and I still have more upgrades planned for this wonderful car, my M3 that is . . . I'm not done having this car set up exactly the way I really want it set up. There will be many more upgrades planned in the future once I have settled into my new place. :cool
EDIT: Elvis has left New England ! ! !
My M3 at its new home in Florida where the roads are in much better shape than the roads in Rhode Island were. Nice to have a house and garage to put this amazing car into. :cool Car was driven 1,162 miles to it's new home.

Since moving here, I have seen a few E46s in the area. One silver cleanly modded 330i that I happened to notice while driving my M3 up to Jacksonville last month.
