stopped at Carl's today, counting mine there were 3 ZHPs in the house (well, mine was on the other side of the fence).

IR sedan is 6MT, Alcantara wheel, black leather, Silver Cube Effect that I found one day at a used car lot while driving the E21. Drove it straight to Carl's, he proceeded to call his friend who drove over and bought it that day. I need to get her to join the forum.

A quick trip to San Diego for work: in yesterday evening, hosted a work happy hour, a dinner, and then out this morning. On the way up, stopped by to look at some 135s we're considering buying (a group of 3 of us). So, spotted a silver zhp. I invited him to join the mafia so mods, look out for a guy named Greg, handle "thecarguy". He said he considered joining earlier but got the message that it was closed to didn't pursue. Wish I had more time to look up Mark, Casey, etc., but the trip was just too quick.

So, while I'm here, view from my hotel room, plus a Navel vessel in the harbor (view left) and a cool aircraft carrier (view right). Sorry, no pics of the silver zhp.

Yesterday, I was at Target in Merrifield in that nice, new shopping center. On the third floor garage, I saw a very nice, debaged silver ZHP with very dark tint on the windows. I couldn't even peer in to see if it was leather or alcantara it was so dark.

It looked great!

This ZHP was parked at the Indy in South Austin. I drive 5 days per week over there, and it's the first time I see a ZHP in the parking lot.

Heh, that happens to me a lot. Every time I see a twin, or a cool BMW in general, I'm driving something else.

Strangely enough, if I let my friend drive my car, he gets waved by every BMW on the road (and other German cars too). I get nothing. But when I drive his car (an STI), I get waves from all the Subaru guys, and he gets nothing. Maybe it's subtle racism ;) (I'm Indian, he's... Dutch? something european lol)

LOL. You might be on to something there terra. I make it a point to never wave at Indians driving BMW's nor Dutch driving VWs. Thought it was just me. :) JUST KIDDING of course!

Interesting observation Terra... usually, the VDub guys give me a wave whenever I'm driving my Imola ZHP but I don't usually get waves when driving my ///M...

I don't get waves lmfao.

Every once in a while I get a 'what is that?' face by someone else in a non-ZHP e46. Or some people that try to see what my badge says, but that doesn't get them anywhere either ;)

Yeah, we had a discussion on this a while back. Nobody waves here in LA. BMW's are like Toyotas here, just too many of them for people to care.

I only get waves in the MINI. Theres a phoenix yellow M3 vert with a hardtop I see sometimes that I've waved at and gotten it back in the ZHP. Thats about it though.

Yup, fully aware of that. One of the things I love about the MINI. The waves are mainly from first gen owners though.
