I got my new Gilmour foam gun in the mail yesterday and tested it out.

You could have a serious foam party with the stuff this thing throws out.

So called BMWNA Customer Relations today, they took my info and said they'd look into it. Threads over on e38/39 forums have reported that BMWNA does offer some goodwill on this dead pixels repair, normally a heavily discounted instrument panel (in some cases the part is free) as long as you pay the 1 hour labor for install at your local dealer. If I get any traction on this one, it'll set a precedent for others to follow with a request for some goodwill on the cost of the shadow line window trim.

Hmmm....I know of the dry rotting rubber molds around the windshield for the E39s. Never notice anything...yet on the side windows. Will keep an eye on them.
