I would have loved it if BMW facelifted the m3.
Hmm, well, I guess its 3 votes for no facelift to Vas and I wishing they had done it...
I do agree Charlie, the flared fenders definitely need to be there, I would've just liked to see it with the facelift headlights and kidney grilles...
Either way, both cars are seksy!
the E60 M5 looks soo much better in person than in photos.
Imo its just the m3 front end is starting to look outdated however it still does look aggressive.
Not exactly "daily". Pictures taken a few days ago in a mall parking garage at night. Also wanted to test the improved night time picture quality of the iPhone 5.
Not bad even though they're edited.

I think I'm a tad late, but I want to vote for a facelifted m3 too.... And it'd be even better with two more doors! :shifty
I disagree... compared to the newer offerings...I still prefer the look of my ///M over them any day of the week! Everything about how BMW designed the E46 chassis including the interior....perfection! :thumbsup
There are other's who feel as you do Vas and say that the look is outdated....that all depends on the person :) Whenever I pull my ///M to the dealer, everyone comes out to check it out....just because the car is older does not mean it is dated...
Obviously, I agree with Ry here...:thumbsup
So what you are saying is you prefer the e46 design pre-face lift ?
Vas,
What I am saying is that I prefer the E46 M3 styling just the way it is. For the ///M, the styling is perfect. Very aggressive styling in front to match its "raw" character. It's perfect! :thumbsup It has that more muscular brute personality about it....
The ZHP being a facelift is also perfect for that car. I think that the facelift styling more suits the character of the ZHP....a more refined look and feel. :thumbsup Of course adding my OEM M3 side mirrors only adds to the sportiness that is ZHP :biggrin
That's what I'm saying Vas, and since I happen to own both I can say this about both my cars ;)
I think so but can't confirm....I know with 2004's and later you could get 19's... wish mine came with factory 19's (I kinda like them)
I'd love me some face lifted E46 M. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that'd be sweet.
I'll vote facelift also, but now to get this thread back on track:

got the car back from the shop earlier, $100 deductible for new RR hub bearings. Nick couldn't figure out what the misfire was, everything (coils, wires, fuel pump, etc.) tested fine. He thinks maybe there was something in the gas line that worked it's way through the system. I guess I only ran the car for maybe 30 seconds when it happened and just drove the E21 that night.
Later this week/weekend I will be installing all the new front end suspension parts on the E21 with the exception of the two bushings that hold the swaybar on, those should be here Monday but they are easy to replace on their own. I'm thinking next week I will be able to have the E21 in good enough shape where I can start working on the E46 and dealing with the many parts that have been piling up in my garage (oil change, diff fluid change, coolant system, underdrive pulleys, M3 autodim mirror, etc.).
The view out my front dining room window. Even dirty, the way the sun hits the car looks amazing.

Nice. New wheels should ship on Monday. Can't freaking wait. Speaking of, my wheels are backwards in that pic to get an idea of the offset/width up front.

Bye, it has been a great 7.5 years of ownership - you are missed already.
The last time I drove her - later that morning she went to her new owner - I young 32 yr old woman (hot, btw) who is a car person (to an extent)
I am married - so I will not be asking her out.
The CF diffuser on the car wasnt the BMW Performance unit - it was a spare aftermarket one I had on the wagon years ago before I went with quads...it was actually really decent quality
Man I wish you would have removed those m3 mirrors.
Car did look.great though.
the sedan will be missed. One of the few ZHPs that I truly admired and help carved the way I modified mine.
Said pics of women would be nice Lmao.
Pics of the woman... LOL, cause THAT'S not creepy... :ninja
