$360!!! For what....4 hours work? Wow. I apparently need to get out of my years of school for a desk job gig and into the dremel-and-jb-weld-shit-together business. :facepalm:facepalm

That's good to hear - I had a good experience ordering from Lightwerkz, but I didn't even know that LightModz existed! I think I'm going to read the diy's a few more times and work up the courage to try again. Maybe someone will come out with an uber-diy :)
You can do mine then. I failed with mine:

i just got edit/quote busted! shameface.
If it was a spare set of headlights I'd say mail them to me and I'd do it for cost of supplies. Maybe you guys need to add a FXR retrofit session to the beast coast meet.
It is a spare set of headlights. :)
Did you jbweld the stuff in there?
Yep. I was going to start dremeling and taking that all out tomorrow maybe.
get yourself a spare battery and hot wire the projectors on a known level table. level up the beam pattern live, clamp, then JB weld.
not sure what projectors you have but my approach would be to JB weld in a feature to the housing structure that allows 3 axis adjustment and mount the projectors to that, just so this doesn't happen again. check out mcmcaster carr, get creative. confident this can be done and be robust, adjustable, and professional.
Good idea. I don't plan on messing with these myself for a long time though. I spent way too much time on these the past 2 weekends.
